    What we do

    We provide a quality Christ-centered education to the children that attend Zion. Our teachers are able to give your child the individual attention that they need, offering Preschool, Kindergarten through Eighth Grade with a strong curriculum. Zion also offers many events and fellowship opportunities to our students and families.

    Chapel Outreach

    Our third quarter chapel offerings support Heifer International, believing ending poverty begins with agriculture. Their mission is to end hunger and poverty by supporting and investing alongside local farmers and their communities.

    Honoring our Community

    Veteran’s Day (originally Armistice Day) is celebrated every year on November 11, honoring the service of all U.S. military veterans. Join us as we host a Veteran’s Day celebration each year at 9:00 a.m.

    Zion Lutheran Church fulfills it's mission, “To Better Know and Show Christ’s Love” by supporting and funding our school and those who attend. “Let the little children come to me….” Matthew 19:14.

    Rock your Socks tomorrow! Every year on March 21, people around the world come together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing brightly colored, mismatched socks. March 21 is symbolic because people with Down Syndrome have 3 copies of their 21st chromosome. We wear our crazy socks in honor of Finley Varner who is a sweet, hardworking, friendly 7 year old with a little bit of spice! She is the sister of 5th grader, Graham. Mrs. List Favorite Hobbies: Painting, ice fishing, jogging, working in the yardFavorite Subject to Teach: Art and ReligionInteresting Facts: "I love to water ski!!" Mrs. Woods Favorite Hobbies: "I like to do a little of this, a little of that."Favorite Subject: "My favorite subject to teach is whatever I may be teaching at the time. However, math above 5th grade would not be on my favorite list."Interesting Fact: "I grew up in Minnesota and went to college in Iowa. I have lived in California, Mississippi, Ohio, and in Michigan.
