Registration for the 2024/25 School Year
We thank you for your interest in attending Zion Lutheran Church and School. Below is some basic information concerning cost and steps to register. The yearly rates for the 2024/25 school year are $350 for registration and $1530 for tuition.
Our congregation has always been willing to support the institution of the Christian Day School so children may benefit from a sound Christian education. The cost of education in our school is around $6610 per child per year. Currently Zion’s congregation is contributing 77% of this cost. Our congregation’s mission is to continue to support the majority of these costs but will be decreasing the amount annually with a goal of 70% by 2026. School Highlights
Bay City Public Schools Bus Transportation is available to students at Zion Lutheran School. We can help get you in contact with the Bus Barn to set up transportation if needed.
- School starts at 8:00am; doors will be open at 7:40am for students to enter the school building.
- The school day will end at 3:00pm. You must be here and in the pickup line by 3:00pm.
- Orientation Day will be Sunday, August 20, 2023, starting 10:15am.
- The first day of school will be Monday, August 21, 2023.
Financial Aid
Zion offers Financial Aid for families that would benefit from such help. We value Christian education as a congregation. We do our best to maintain a tuition program that is feasible for the demographic area we serve. One of the challenges when dealing with financial numbers is that they are impersonal and do not always tell the accurate story of real families. Since we desire all families to have a Christ-centered education, no matter their financial situation, we have partnered with TADS (Tuition Aid Data Services) as a third-party resource to determine financial need and gifts.
