Andrew Menz

Senior Administrative Pastor

My name is Pastor Andrew Menz and I am the Senior Administrative Pastor at Zion.  My biggest joys in ministry are preaching, teaching, visiting members, and serving in a Lutheran school environment.

I grew up in Cadillac, Michigan and attended Concordia University, Ann Arbor.  After graduating in 2004, I married my better half, Emily.  We then moved to St. Louis Missouri where I studied at Concordia Seminary.  My first congregation was in Coloma, Michigan where I served from 2008 until 2017.

Emily and I have been blessed with three children, Henry, Lillian, and Madelyn. They all attend Zion Lutheran.  In my spare time, I am often outdoors hunting, fishing, playing disc golf, skiing, and simply enjoying God’s wonderful creation with family and friends

Seth Hemme

Associate Pastor

My name is Pastor Seth Hemme and I have been serving as the Associate Pastor at Zion since 2010. I am involved with many things at Zion, including preaching, teaching, visitation, and working with the youth of the congregation.

It is great to share God’s love in Jesus with the people here at Zion. I grew up near St. Louis, Missouri and attended college at Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois. I went to Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, and was placed at a congregation in the Detroit area after graduation in 2004. There I met my wife Patty, who was a teacher at the Lutheran school of the congregation. We are blessed with two children, Hannah and Matthew.

My wife teaches 5th-8th grade Math and Science at Zion. I love learning about new things, reading, exercising, and enjoy spending time with my family.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."
