Zion Lutheran offers a number of opportunities to grow in Christ and in unity with other believers. A number of groups with common interests and/or life circumstances regularly meet. A variety of Bible Studies are conducted throughout the week. In addition, more in depth training opportunities are periodically provided. Come and be a part of our community of faith.
Different groups include Mothers of Young Children, Sunday School classes for children of all ages, Youth Group, Ladies Bible Study, home Bible Study groups, Stephen ministry, softball teams, Senior Ministry, Vacation Bible School and more. For more information about any of these ministries please contact the church.
1st and 2nd grade had a special guest reader from Disability Network of Mid-Michigan, we read a book about dyslexia and every student got their very own copy!! We are so grateful for outreach programs like this to share their knowledge.
We were excited to hear from Ms. Saralyn from Midland's Open Door this morning and excited for our new mission for the 4th marking which will be donations to Midland's Open Door, especially after school snacks. On Wednesday morning for chapel, have your child bring some snacks to donate ...throughout the entire fourth marking period.
We are so excited for our Literacy Museum Wednesday! Read the note below for all the details.

The best classroom is one under the warmth of the sun and feeling the fresh air!
Bring on spring! ☀️
1st and 2nd grade took a fun-“sappy” field trip to Chippewa Nature Center to learn about maple syrup! 🍁
(Peep the faces when they heard about the bug legs that get filters out of the sap before getting our delicious pure maple syrup. 😂)
