Food Pantry

Food Pantry 

A supply of non-perishable food is donated periodically by Zion members and stored at the church to be given to people in our area when the need comes to our attention. We work in conjunction with a network of agencies, and give out food when the needy family has been referred from a central agency which knows the people involved.

Volunteers may be needed for special collections or to organize food in the pantry and check for expiration dates.  Occasionally we need help sorting donations and making and distributing the food baskets.  Please check the church bulletin throughout the year to see the needs of the food pantry.
