Soccer

Soccer games for 4/5 and 2/3 grades that were scheduled for this week are cancelled, due to Faith B.C. not having soccer teams. Those teams will practice today and Tuesday from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. 2/3 grade Soccer players must purchase royal blue soccer socks and they must cover the shin guards..

Looking Ahead Sunday, September 12 – Sunday School Begins

Girl’s Bible Study is on Sunday mornings 7th grade – high school girls are invited.

Sunday, October 3 – Smorgasboard will be TakeOut only. Cost is $12 and includes sausage, chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, German potato salad, baked beans, squash, sauerkraut, coleslaw and a slice of pie.

Family VBS This year we will be hosting an outdoor evening of fun for the entire family. Come join us for a fun night of songs, crafts, sweet treats, and learning about God’s great love for us. Registration forms must be turned in by Sunday, June 13 to attend.

Summer Care We are happy to annonce we will be offering Summer Care to all current Zion students. Summer Care starts June 7th and will be available M-Th, 7:30am – 5:30pm, $35 per student, per day. Schedules will need to be submitted in order to hold your spot. Contact Ms. Lacie for more information.

Confirmation

Congratulations to our 8th graders, Virginia List and Molly Riker as they confirmed their faith in Christ this past Sunday. God blessings to them in a life filled with fail and love.

Grounds Clean Up The trustees are planning a grounds clean-up day, this Saturday, May 1. Please come lend a helping hand at 10:00 a.m.

Global Awareness Collecting Floss Donations

Through April, the Global Awareness Club will be collecting toothpaste (any size, any brands but kids is appreciated) and toothbrushes for the Alaska Mission for Christ mission team to Goodnews Bay, Alaska. Villagers do not get regular dental care and the team will include these items in a “VBS in a box” shipment.

Little Caesars Pizza Kits

Pizza kits are scheduled to be delivered next Wednesday, April 21st. Please plan to pick up your orders as we do not have extra freezer space. There was 250 kits sold! 7/8 grade class trip earned $1500.
