Food Pantry Drive for Thanksgiving
Zion’s Food Pantry is looking for donations of non-perishable food. Items needed include mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing mix, cranberries, and mandarin oranges, orange Jello, corn and brownie mix. More info to come.
Veteran’s Day
Join us for a small breakfast at 8:15am for you and your guest in the cafeteria. A program will follow with the presentation of the colors in the gym at 9:00am. All are welcome to join us for the presentations: veterans, families of veterans, and those who want to join the celebration thanking veterans for their service.

This quarter we are collecting chapel offerings for our Compassion International friend, Miguel!
Hearts for Jesus
This ministry allows children minister to children. Here Lutheran students make a difference in a child’s life through the chose ministry. Along with the education component that is involved, children learn about another part of the world, its people, and their customs. This year our donation will be MOST Ministries. Each year MOST Ministries provides recycled eyeglasses to people living in developing nations around the world.
The Bridge Food Center, Midland
The Bridge is a grocery store with wholesale prices, marked up by 5 pennies. We are fun by volunteer staff. The Bridge is able to keep product costs low, because all of the labor costs are eliminated due to volunteers that help out. Watch for more information.
